1. What you can request
You can ask us to delete your entire SendMoto account with all associated personal data, or specific pieces of it — for example a single quote request or an uploaded photo. Deletion is available to Customer Users and Carrier Users alike.
2. How to request deletion
Deletion is currently handled as a verified support request:
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Include the phone number your account is registered with (and the account email, if you added one).
- We verify that the request really comes from you — for example with a one-time code sent to your registered phone number.
- We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm to you when it is done.
There is no self-service delete button in the account panel yet; the process above is the supported way today.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted we remove your profile and contact details, sign-in methods, quote requests and their photos, offers, notification history and support correspondence from our active systems. Ratings and reviews you left for others may be kept in anonymised form, no longer linked to you.
4. What we must keep for a while
Some records are exempt from immediate deletion because the law requires us to keep them — in particular booking and transaction records under Thai tax and accounting law, and records needed to handle an open dispute or prevent fraud. These are kept access-restricted for the statutory period and then deleted.
5. If you signed in with Google, Facebook or LINE
Deleting your SendMoto account also deletes the data we received from your sign-in provider (your name, email address and provider account identifier). This page serves as SendMoto’s data deletion instructions for Facebook Login.
If you want to disconnect SendMoto on the provider’s side too:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove SendMoto.
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services → remove SendMoto.
- LINE: Settings → Account → Authorized apps → remove SendMoto.
Removing the app on the provider’s side stops future data sharing; to erase what we already hold, send the deletion request described above.
6. Unpublished drafts
A quote draft that is never published expires automatically 14 days after its last update, together with its photos, without any request needed.
7. Questions and complaints
If anything here is unclear, or you believe a request was not handled properly, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). See our privacy policy for the full picture of what we collect and why.
